Terms of use

Last updated 29 September 2026

These terms cover your licence to use Underground Trader Extreme. In short: it is trading software that runs on your own broker account, we never hold your money, nothing we provide is financial advice, and you are responsible for your settings and your trading.

1. Who we are

These terms govern your use of the software and services provided under the name Underground Trader Technologies ("we", "us"), including the Underground Trader Extreme trading engine for MetaTrader 5, the cloud service, the mobile and desktop apps, the Underground Sentinel assistant and this website (together, "the Platform"). You can reach us at thabz@undergroundtradertechnologies.net.

By installing, accessing or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. What the Platform is, and what it is not

The Platform is trading software. It runs an automated method on your own MetaTrader 5 terminal, connected to your own account with a broker you choose, and lets you monitor and control it.

3. Your licence

When you buy a licence or start a trial, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform for your own trading, for the period and number of accounts stated when you signed up. You do not buy the software itself.

4. Your responsibilities

5. Acceptable use

You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or try to extract the method, source code or logic of the Platform; get around licence checks or security; use the Platform to break any law or any broker's terms; or interfere with the service for other users.

6. Intellectual property

The trading method, the software, the designs, the name Underground Trader Technologies and the Underground Trader Extreme and Underground Sentinel names belong to us. These terms do not give you any ownership of them. Your own trading data remains yours; see our privacy policy for how we handle it.

7. Fees and payment

Any fees are the ones stated when you buy your licence. Unless we say otherwise in writing, fees are payable in advance and are not refundable once the licence period has started, except where the law requires otherwise.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Platform running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted. It depends on things outside our control, including your terminal, your server, your internet connection, your broker and third-party services. We may update, change or stop features, and we will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

9. No guarantee of results

Trading results depend on markets, your settings, your broker and many other factors. We do not promise any profit or any particular result. Past results, including any shown on this website, do not guarantee future results.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any trading loss, lost profit, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, including losses caused by software faults, delays, connection problems, broker actions or decisions made by the automated engine or the assistant. Where we cannot exclude liability, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 where it applies to you.

11. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or end your licence if you break these terms, if your licence period ends or is not paid, or if we need to in order to protect the Platform or other users. The Platform includes an emergency stop that halts new trades; existing positions stay open in your broker account until you or your settings close them.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you through the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
