Trading can lose you money
Trading contracts for difference (CFDs), synthetic indices, indices, commodities and currencies on margin is high risk. Because these products are leveraged, a small price move can cause a large loss, and you can lose all the money in your trading account. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Synthetic indices
Synthetic indices are products created by the broker that offers them. Their prices come from the broker's own random number generation, not from a real market, and they trade around the clock. Their behaviour, pricing and availability are controlled by that broker. Make sure you understand how your broker's synthetic indices work before trading them.
Automated trading has its own risks
- The engine follows rules. It cannot judge unusual events the way a person can, and it will keep trading according to its settings until you change them or stop it.
- Your terminal, server, internet connection or broker can fail, disconnect or delay orders. Trades may be missed, opened late, filled at a different price than expected (slippage), or left open longer than intended.
- Software can contain errors. We test carefully, but no software is free of faults.
- Settings you choose, such as lot size, risk per trade, number of positions and which pairs trade, directly change how much you can lose.
Results are not guaranteed
Past performance, whether real, simulated or shown in statistics, does not guarantee future results. A method that has worked in some market conditions can lose money in others. Statistics based on a small number of trades can be misleading.
The AI assistant can be wrong
Underground Sentinel explains what the system has done and summarises news and data. It can misunderstand a question, rely on incomplete information or make mistakes. Check anything important yourself before acting on it.
